dotbm is a BEDC Trusted Service Provider. If your business is a BEDC member, we will look at one part of your setup, talk it through with you for up to 30 minutes, and send you a short written report of what we found and what to fix first.
It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. The report is yours to act on yourselves, or to hand to whoever already looks after your technology.
Security update, October 2026
On 21 October 2026, PHP released an update that repairs two serious security problems. PHP is the software most business websites run on. A website without the update can be taken over.

We go through what you sent and what is publicly visible before we talk, so the call is not spent on basics.
Up to 30 minutes by phone or video. Some website checks do not need one.
One to three pages, usually within ten working days of the call, written so you can hand it to whoever does the work.
What it covers
The check tells you where you stand and what to do next. It does not do the work, and it does not go anywhere that needs a password. Anything bigger can be scoped separately, by us or by anyone else.
The report is yours
Plenty of findings are a setting, a renewal or a page to update. The report says which.
It is written so your web developer, IT person or accountant can act on it without us.
If you want a quote from someone else, the report is the brief.
If you would like dotbm to do the work, we quote it separately, and BEDC members get 15% off eligible work.

Eligible means dotbm’s own one-off professional fees for design, build, setup and configuration work. It does not apply to monthly hosting and support plans, hardware, software licences or subscriptions, domain registrations, bank, gateway or transaction fees, or work already discounted. You pay providers directly wherever practical; anything dotbm buys for you is approved by you first and passed through at cost, with no markup, and is not discounted. The discount is capped at $2,000 per project, cannot be combined with other offers, and applies to work quoted within 12 months of your readiness check while you are a BEDC member. A Workflow Review fee credit is not an offer, so it still applies, after the discount.
